Orbik's painterly cover for this April 1998 issue captures Superman mid-leap above a cityscape, red cape billowing dramatically as his fists clench with purposeful intensity — a striking visual nod to the tagline "Able to Leap Tall Buildings in a Single Bound." It's the concluding chapter of a three-part story by Robinson, Semeiks, and Neary, bringing their "Mad Scientist" arc to its finish. A handsome addition to DC's Legends of the Universe anthology line, which gave creators room to tell focused, character-driven Superman stories outside the main continuity.
