Concluding the "Faith" arc in this October 1991 issue of Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight, the cover — penciled by Bart Sears and inked by Randy Elliott — puts the Dark Knight front and center in a fiercely dynamic pose, cape billowing as he swings what appears to be a baseball bat against a blood-red sky swarming with bats. A looming, shadowy bat-silhouette dominates the background, lending the image an almost mythic tension that feels perfectly suited to a story called "Faith." With Mike W. Barr writing and Bart Sears on interior art as well, this concluding chapter promises the same kinetic energy on display right here on the cover.
