Peter Quill flies in guns blazing against a foe who dominates the entire foreground — a snarling, massive Thanos in his gold-and-blue armor, the cover's bold tagline "And Now… Thanos!" leaving little doubt about the threat Star-Lord is facing. Paco Medina's cover art makes the size disparity between the two feel genuinely intimidating, with Peter's dual pistols raised defiantly against the Mad Titan's sheer presence. Sam Humphries and Freddie Williams II's 2014 series was already delivering cosmic adventure, and this fourth issue promises to raise the stakes considerably.
