Leading Screen Comics #45
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeFifty-two pages of funny-animal fun await in this 1950 DC anthology starring Peter Porkchops, the dapper little pig shown here in his circus guard uniform, cheerfully holding open a tent flap. The gag is right there on the cover: a wolf and a lion are peering out from behind cage bars, one of them calling out "Thanks for letting me into the circus, Peter!" — a delightfully silly situation that Otto Feuer renders with warm, rubbery charm. At a dime for over fifty pages, this was a genuinely good deal for young readers in 1950.
