Part of the acclaimed La Légende des Stryges universe, this sixth volume of Le Siècle des Ombres arrives from Delcourt in 2015 with a cover by Michel Suro that immediately commands attention. Against a blazing crimson sky, a massive winged figure looms atop a dune, its dark silhouette radiating menace as several hunched, lurching figures close in around it from below. Corbeyran's script and Suro's art, colored by Dimitri Fogolin, promise a chapter steeped in shadow and dread — entirely fitting for a chapter subtitled Le diable.
