Hippolyte convoque un conseil amazone pour déterminer la marche à suivre maintenant qu'un homme du monde extérieur a atterri sur Themyscira. Il y a une divergence d'opinion, mais finalement ils écoutent Castalie qui croit que les dieux ont permis à Steve de les trouver et que c'est un signe que les Amazones doivent aider le monde extérieur à faire face à une menace à venir. Un tournoi est organisé pour déterminer un champion Amazone pour accompagner Steve dans le monde des hommes et faire face à cette menace. Diana remporte le tournoi et accompagne Steve dans le monde extérieur.
