About this Collection

This ninth volume of the Le Décalogue series continues the intricate historical thriller, following the quest for the mysterious papyrus of Kôm-Ombo. The story weaves together ancient Egyptian secrets and modern-day intrigue, as characters pursue the truth behind a cryptic manuscript that holds the key to a centuries-old mystery.

In 1798, as artists and scholars idolize Egypt’s ancient pyramids and pharaohs, Captain Eugène Nadal meets Fernand Desnouettes—a man whose fascination with the Islamic world runs deep. Desnouettes speaks of a hidden legend: the Labyrinth of Thot, a forgotten sanctuary in the sands of Kôm-Ombo, where followers of a mysterious faith linked to Islam are said to have taken refuge after the death of a prophet. Written by Frank Giroud and illustrated by Michel Faure, Le décalogue #9 unfolds with quiet intensity, blending historical intrigue with a whisper of the unknown. The cover, also by Michel Faure, captures the mystery in stark, evocative lines.
