Greg Pak and Diego Galindo's Lawful reaches its sixth issue with a cover by Qistina Khalidah that pulls you in close — a young person wrapped in a teal headscarf peers through a graffiti-covered glass door, one hand gripping the frame, red angular markings overlaid across their face like a mask or a warning. The yellow caution sign on the glass and the layered street art give the image a tense, urban atmosphere that feels both intimate and unsettling. BOOM! Studios continues to present this series with real visual confidence, and Khalidah's cover art alone makes this 2024 issue hard to pass up.
