Fawcett's long-running photo-cover series rides on with this March 1953 entry, featuring a striking image of Lash LaRue — clad in his trademark all-black outfit and holding a coiled whip — standing alongside a young cowboy sidekick who's got a pistol leveled and ready. The burst on the cover proudly promises "More Pages of Stories!", making this an especially generous installment, with Westbrook Wilson delivering the tale of "Belle Buckley: Gold Town Siren!!" A solid ten cents bought Western fans quite a lot in 1953.
