Lash La Rue Western #55

Lash LaRue recovers from a head injury inflicted by a stagecoach robber and pursues the thieves who stole a thousand dollars and a cashier. Following footprints that lead to a stage entrance, Lash discovers a roving marshal backstage and questions him about a suspicious stranger named Warwick. After Warwick escapes over a cliff, Lash uses his bullwhip to stop a runaway coach. In a secondary story titled "The Big Job," Dusty encounters a writer offering a hundred dollars for information about Western cowboys, and pursues him to a hotel where they become caught up in a chaotic scene at the general store.
