This volume collects the first half of the original Lady Snowblood manga saga, originally serialized in the 1970s. It follows Yuki, a woman born and raised for the sole purpose of avenging her family's brutal murder, as she cuts a bloody path through Meiji-era Japan. This edition presents the classic tale that later inspired the film and Kill Bill, translated into English for the first time by Dark Horse in 2005.
