When a string of ingenious jewel thefts by the acrobatic burglar Wingfoot threatens to ruin the Annual Charity Ball at the Van Rifraf mansion, Lady Luck goes undercover to catch the culprit red-handed. With the help of the ballet dancers and society figures attending the glittering party—including the charming Count DiChange and the temperamental Panilova—she sets a trap to expose the thief's identity and his unexpected connection to the world of dance.
