Lady Death: Judgement War #3
In "A Host for Holocaust," the third chapter of Lady Death: Judgement War, the battle for cosmic supremacy reaches its zenith as Lady Death turns her gaze from Hell’s ruins to Heaven’s gates. With Michael and his angels unaware that she’s already moved on, she dismantles Heaven’s defenses and confronts God—only to discover the divine being is a long-dead Lucifer wearing God’s mask. Written by Brian Pulido and Len Kaminski, with dynamic art by Ivan Reis and inks by Joe Pimentel, the issue delivers a chilling twist that reshapes the war’s stakes. The cover, also by Reis and Pimentel, captures the moment of revelation with haunting intensity.

With the forces of Hell defeated, Michael and his angels lead an all out assault on Lady Death, little realizing that she has already left to storm the gates of Heaven. Lady Death brings down Heaven's walls and confronts God himself, quickly realizing that he is actually Lucifer in disguise (God hasn't been in Heaven for a very long time). Lady Death kills Lucifer and destroys the Jehovex Machina that powers the realm. With both Heaven and Hell taken care of, Death sends Lady Death back to Earth to prepare for the creature known as Armageddon.
