La Masa #49
This volume collects the Spanish-language edition of John Byrne's 1986 'La Masa' series, reprinting the adventures of the classic Marvel character as he navigates a modernized world. Published by Planeta DeAgostini, it gathers the complete run of the short-lived solo title that followed the character's return from the Golden Age.
In "¡...Demonios!", the Masa faces a haunting revelation as the Puffball collective shares a sorrowful tale of their lost world. When the Masa breaks the mystical barrier meant to keep them imprisoned, he unwittingly unleashes a horde of N'Garai demons across the multiverse—only to find help from Goblin, Guardian, and Glow in sealing the rift before it's too late. Written by Bill Mantlo and Jesús Carruesco, with dynamic art by Sal Buscema and inks by Gerry Talaoc, and a striking cover by Mike Mignola, this 1986 issue delivers a chilling twist in the Masa's journey.
