In "¡El Camino de las Águilas!", Conan leads his pirates in a relentless pursuit of the Turanian general Artaban, driven by vengeance after Artaban cold-bloodedly slaughters their wounded. When Artaban spares the slave girl Roxana and later rescues the imprisoned Prince Teyaspa from Gleg the Zaporoskan’s castle, a fragile alliance forms—only to fracture as secrets and betrayals unfold. With help from the exiled Yuetshi chief Vinashko, Conan infiltrates the fortress through a hidden passage, but the cost of victory may be more than he can bear.

In "¡El Camino de las Águilas! Parte II," Conan and his pirates face a brutal siege as Artaban's forces overwhelm the fortress. Just when victory seems certain, an unexpected fourth force emerges, shifting the tide and forcing Conan to flee.
