In "L'esprit tranquille," Bruce Banner wanders the desert when he stumbles upon an old man who's hired an assassin to kill him. When the Hulk intervenes to protect the man, the confrontation takes a sudden, surreal turn. Written by Peter David and illustrated by Dwayne Turner, with inks by Tony DeZuniga and colors by Petra Scotese, this 1987 issue features a cover by Steve Geiger and Bob McLeod.
