L.E.G.I.O.N. '90 #11

The tagline "The Future Is Now" sets the tone perfectly for this January 1990 installment of DC's intergalactic police force series. Kevin Maguire's pencils (inked by Al Gordon) deliver a confident team portrait — six L.E.G.I.O.N. members ranging from a wild-haired figure and a blue-skinned woman on the left to a towering armored bruiser and a powerfully built bald commander on the right, all posed against a striking gold-and-blue starburst backdrop. With Alan Grant and Keith Giffen scripting "Power Play" and Barry Kitson on interior art, this is a solid chapter in one of 1990's most entertaining cosmic titles.
