Kull, the Destroyer #28
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeRobert E. Howard's brooding barbarian king gets a supernatural jolt in this 1978 Marvel issue, with a cover by Ernie Chan that pulls no punches: Kull and a dark-haired woman are trapped inside a shattering crystal prison while an enormous skeletal figure — crowned and grinning — looms behind them, its massive hands closing in from every side. The story is titled "The Creature in the Crown!," and the cover makes it clear that whatever lurks within that royal headpiece is no ordinary menace. As a bonus, the issue promises the spine-tingling return of Thulsa Doom, making this a particularly charged chapter in Kull's long war against the darkness of pre-history.
