Kull, the Destroyer #16
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeAfter a hiatus, Kull the Destroyer storms back to Marvel's 1976 lineup with a cover that wastes no time making its case — the barbarian king lunges forward, sword and shield raised, as a massive blue beast looms behind him, golden demonic figures menace from the right, and flames rage across the foreground. Ed Hannigan's pencils and Pablo Marcos's inks pack the image with kinetic energy, surrounding Kull with a mysterious blonde figure and the distant silhouette of a bat-sailed ship on churning waters. With Roy Thomas and Doug Moench both on scripting duties for "The Tiger in the Moon," this revival issue delivers the sword-and-sorcery intensity the series built its reputation on.
