Issue 19 of Kronieken van de Zwarte Maan arrives in 2023 with a cover by Olivier Ledroit that is genuinely hard to look away from — a luminous, shrouded figure rises against cold blue pillars, surrounded by swirling red crustacean-like creatures, mouth agape in what reads as either agony or dark ecstasy.
