In "Ørneredet!", Mabu faces a deadly challenge when an eagle attacks his little dog, leading him to spear the bird only to find it still alive. Driven by hunger, he later ventures into a towering nest, unaware of the danger that awaits. When the enraged eagle strikes, it's the small dog’s courage that saves the unconscious boy, drawing the attention of Ras Tafuri and his party, who carry Mabu and his loyal companion toward safety.
