In "Tandikas riddere," Korak and Billali earn favor with Queen Tandika by slaying lions and presenting their pelts, joining Mandyama in the queen’s court. When the queen offers them brides of choice, Korak refuses—until Mandyama selects a white captive, sparking a duel that Korak wins. The queen then arranges a marriage between Korak and Sue Randall, though Korak quietly assures her the union is meaningless, a ruse to help her escape.

In "Snøfjellets kjemper," Korak answers a desperate call when a giant Torodon abducts a Ho-Don girl, leading him deep into the icy heart of the snow-capped mountains. With Ta-Den at his side and the fate of the girl hanging in the balance, Korak must confront the beast in its frozen lair, using cunning and courage to turn the mountain itself against the creature. Their escape becomes a race through treacherous terrain, where a single misstep could mean disaster—until they finally reach the sanctuary of El-Lee's people, their survival forged in the wilds of the snow.
