“Konga and the Island Monster”

In "Konga and the Island Monster," the title character, newly arrived on a mysterious island, finds himself caught in a clash between ancient worship and a terrifying sea dragon. With Joe Gill’s storytelling and Steve Ditko’s striking art bringing the primal struggle to life, Konga faces his greatest challenge yet—defeating a monstrous creature to save those condemned to be its sacrifice. The cover, a dynamic double-draw by Dick Giordano, captures the moment of high tension.
