Constantly being attacked no matter where he goes, Konga finds himself in Eastern Europe. He saves disgraced Soviet leader Shol Rubat from a firing squad. Rubat senses Konga's loneliness and exploits friendship to have Konga help him crush his enemies and take over the country. Rubat reclaims his power and rules over the people with an iron fist. No longer needing Konga, he tries to have him destroyed but fails. This causes Rubat to be overthrown and freedom returns to the land.
