Harry Creeksfield decides to double cross Marty Fingers over stolen bonds and murders him. He is quickly confronted by Detective Mary Bryant, Creeksfield's ex-wife who overhears the shooting, and he shoots and wounds her too to get away. Creeksfield sees his girlfriend Jean Lewis to leave town and she is horrified by his actions and soon is also killed by him. Kojak and Crocker investigate and track him down to Kennedy Airport, resulting in a shootout and Crocker killing Creeksfield.
