Kobalt #2

The second issue of Milestone Media's Kobalt — subtitled "Walk in the Park" on the cover — wastes no time establishing that this hero's turf is anything but peaceful. Arvell Jones and John Stanisci's cover drops Kobalt into the center of a sprawling street brawl, surrounded by a knife-wielding attacker mid-leap, a masked assailant, and a crush of desperate, recoiling figures, all bathed in a burning amber sky. A small inset at the top hints at even more action in store, making this 1994 DC/Milestone release a punchy snapshot of the gritty urban energy that defined the line.
