"Dead-Day Danny" follows a young boy whose motorcycle practice with cinders causes chaos among his neighbors, eventually leading to his capture by tramps and a dramatic escape. "Billy Bunter" depicts the titular character being robbed and left stranded fifty miles from Greyfriars, forcing him to beg for food before ultimately recovering. The issue also contains "Tararo," an adventure story in which characters escape a war canoe on the open sea and paddle toward an enemy helicopter, leading to a cliffhanger ending. Additionally, "Tinker" features a protagonist following mysterious tracks up a mountain toward a crater, where he discovers evidence of enemy aircraft activity and observes strange bat-planes diving into a volcanic crater.
