Knight Terrors: Batman #2

Guillem March's cover for Knight Terrors: Batman #2 pulls no punches — a battered, bloodied Batman lies pinned beneath a massive, nightmarish winged creature, its taloned grip and crimson-drenched feathers filling the frame with genuine dread. The composition is brutally intimate, with the Dark Knight appearing overwhelmed and the monster looming over him in a way that makes the title "Death of the Dream" feel absolutely apt.
