Kirby: Genesis - Dragonsbane #2

Part of Dynamite's ambitious Kirby: Genesis event, this second issue of Dragonsbane features a striking cover by Alex Ross that's hard to look away from — a red-caped warrior woman stands triumphant, arms raised, while two armored, pig-snouted opponents are knocked sprawling around a winged, golden-helmeted boar at her feet. Ross's painterly style gives the whole scene a mythic, almost operatic weight that feels perfectly suited to Jack Kirby's larger-than-life sensibility.
