Othello's comrades restrain him from killing Iago, who loudly proclaims that Othello has every right to do so. Othello keeps Iago prisoner, but Hamlet slips away from their party. While on his own he sees how Richard brutalizes his people, then falls in with Demtrius and Lysander, who hope to join forces with the Prodigals.
