“A Sea of Troubles”

In "A Sea of Troubles," Hamlet—exiled and adrift after his father's death—survives a pirate attack only to be rescued by the cunning Richard III, who claims he’s the prophesied Shadow King destined to overthrow the tyrant god Shakespeare. With the promise that the three witches can restore his father’s life, Hamlet reluctantly agrees to join Richard’s cause, unaware of the dark alliance forming behind his back. Written by Conor McCreery and Anthony Del Col, with art by Andy Belanger and colors by Ian Herring, this bold first issue of Kill Shakespeare blends Shakespearean tragedy with high-stakes fantasy, all framed by Kagan McLeod’s striking cover.
