The creative team of Ed Brubaker, Sean Phillips, and Elizabeth Breitweiser keeps their hard-edged crime noir firing on all cylinders with issue fifteen. Sean Phillips's cover places a masked figure — red balaclava pulled tight, arms crossed defiantly — against a tiled wall, the body language radiating both menace and a coiled, cornered tension. It's a quietly gripping image that captures the series' signature mood: someone dangerous, someone desperate, and the blurry line between the two.
