A humorous frontier adventure where Jimmy's scheme to become the next Jesse James lands him in way over his head.
In this tall tale from 1963, ol' Smokey spins an outlandish yarn about his time as an advance scout during Custer's campaign against Sitting Bull—complete with disguises, daring escapes, and feats of strength that would make any frontier legend blush. When Smokey learns of Sitting Bull's trap for the Colonel, he'll stop at nothing to warn him, though his elaborate plan to stop the ambush takes a wild and unexpected turn. It's a rollicking romp through exaggerated Western heroics that proves sometimes the real history is a lot stranger than the movies make it out to be.
