Midam's beloved gaming kid is back for a twentieth volume, and the cover sets a wonderfully chaotic tone: Kid Paddle himself dives in head-first, wide-eyed and tongue out, toward a monstrous, googly-eyed cheeseburger dripping with melted cheese, while an equally bug-eyed red soda cup stands watch beside them. Subtitled Blorkchef, this 2024 Dupuis entry promises the series' signature brand of gleefully unhinged humor, this time apparently pointed squarely at food and culinary mayhem. If you've ever wanted to see fast food rendered as a full-on cartoon creature feature, this cover makes a very persuasive case.
