Cover art by Joe Maneely puts Kid Colt front and center in a chaotic saloon brawl — the blond outlaw lunges forward with fist cocked while a burly adversary sprawls across the floor, a revolver skidding just out of reach, and a third rough character lurks in the background with a drawn pistol. The cover teaser "Can Kid Colt Save 'The Dude'?" adds a compelling wrinkle to the mayhem unfolding across the scene. This December 1956 Atlas title promises "brand-new thrills," and with interior work by writer Joe Gill and artist Jack Keller, fans of Western action were in good hands.
