Marvel's longest-running western hero tears into 1967 in fine form here, with Kid Colt center-stage on the cover — red vest flying, six-shooters blazing — as he takes on no fewer than four hard-edged opponents closing in from every side. The cover art, penciled by Larry Lieber and Jack Keller and inked by Sol Brodsky and George Roussos, crackles with kinetic energy, and two preview panels along the bottom promise even more of the "gun-slingin', hard-ridin' action" the cover copy enthusiastically guarantees. "The Wrath of Rammer Rankin!" sounds like exactly the kind of full-throttle frontier showdown this series does best.
