The Kickers and players from the Alberta Icecutters get into a bar fight and are thrown in jail. The teams decide to settle their differences by taking part in a relay race through northern Canada for charity. On the anchor leg, Jack investigates strange occurrences at an isolated cabin. He saves Meyers, the reporter who had originally suggested the idea of a relay race, from aliens and Bigfoot. Jack finishes the race well behind the Icecutters and, in addition, nobody believes his story. Meyers and CIA agent, Templar, had set the whole strangeness up to get proof of Jack's abilities.
