The second chapter of Daedalus's medieval fantasy series Katharen arrives with a striking cover by Fabio Bono: a hooded archer strides forward across a rocky, pine-studded landscape, bow in hand and dark green cloak billowing behind them, while a fortified tower looms in the misty background. The subtitle "Klopjacht" — Dutch for "manhunt" — hints at the urgent, hunted-or-hunter tension radiating from the figure's determined expression. With writing by Bruno Falba and art and inks by Bono, this 2012 album promises the kind of atmospheric European fantasy storytelling that rewards a lingering look at every page.
