Kaptara #2 delivers the wild, pulpy sci-fi adventure its subtitle promises — "The Road Less Traveled by Cat Tanks" — with Kagan McLeod's cover depicting exactly that: a massive, wide-eyed feline creature fused with tank treads barreling forward, ridden by a muscular, armored warrior striking a heroic pose atop the vehicle, while a long-haired figure in the foreground clutches what appears to be a weapon. Chip Zdarsky and McLeod's 2015 Image series clearly revels in absurdist fantasy with a sharp sense of humor, and this cover radiates that playful energy with confidence.
