Kamandi, the Last Boy on Earth #36

The cover by Joe Kubert throws Kamandi — the last boy on Earth — into desperate peril, as a turbaned, gas-masked figure grabs the blond teen while a swarm of crocodiles surges through the flooded, rubble-strewn cityscape around them. A speech bubble declaring "The Animal is Ours!" makes the stakes bracingly clear, and the teaser copy promising that "Everyone is Just Dying to Get into The Hotel!" hints at the dark, pulpy adventure waiting inside.
