Ka-Zar the Savage #33
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThe cover of this August 1984 Marvel issue sets a tense, waterlogged stage: Ka-Zar — blond, knife in hand — is driven to his knees on what appears to be the hull of a submarine, while a menacing figure in red advances on him with a gun drawn, and a woman in leopard-skin attire looks on in alarm. The banner says it all: "Brother Against Brother — To the Death!" — a promise of fierce personal conflict that the story title, "Brother, Can You Spare a Mine?", underscores with a wry edge. Paul Neary's cover linework captures the crashing waves and raw urgency of the confrontation with real energy, making this one of the more gripping entries in Ka-Zar the Savage's run.
