Ka-Zar the Savage #28

The cover of this October 1983 Marvel issue pulls you in immediately, with a wild-maned Ka-Zar lunging forward through swirling dark clouds, knife at his belt and urgency written across his face. Below him, a woman in a leopard-skin outfit — almost certainly Shanna — trails behind, her wrists bound by ropes that Ka-Zar appears to be gripping, caught in the same turbulent void.
