As Paul and Ka-Zar journey to the Forgotten Lake, they uncover a shocking truth: the war between British and German factions is being sustained by their leaders to maintain power, and when Ka-Zar intervenes, the conspirators attempt to destroy the entire land. Written by Roy Thomas, Gary Friedrich, and Rolf Lindby, with art by Herb Trimpe and Barry Smith and inks by Tom Sutton and Sal Buscema, the issue features a cover by Barry Smith.

Barbara Morris och Paul Allen kraschar med ett flygplan i Urtidslandet. Paul undsätts av Ka-Zar medan Barbara hamnar hos britterna från Nya Britannien. I Urtidslandet finns britter och tyskar som fortsätter utkämpa Andra världskriget. Paul och Ka-Zar ger sig ut på Glömda sjön, men attackeras då av tyskarna. Ka-Zar upptäcker att ledarskapet för både britter och tyskar håller liv i kriget för att behålla sin makt, och när Ka-Zar stoppar dem försöker de förinta hela Urtidslandet.
