# Justice Traps the Guilty #85 This anthology issue contains two crime stories. In "Robbery," Carl Danview, a serial robber who preys on victims across the country, leaves his trademark of forcing victims to kneel and pray before robbing them; Detective Sam Hubbane of Los Angeles eventually catches him after Danview sells stolen Harvette diamond rings at a pawn shop on Skid Row. In a second story, Police Officer Walter Mercer is exposed in the press for cowardice when he flees a burning tenement, resulting in a loss of life, but he works to redeem his reputation and prove himself worthy of his father's police legacy despite public shame and the scrutiny of his peers.
