This is an anthology issue containing three true crime stories. "Guilty" features a con artist claiming to be someone's brother who is exposed by a police officer's interrogation. The "Closeups" section includes three separate cases: Police Sergeant Martin Nailor proves a numbers racket runner swallowed evidence during arrest; Betty Colter attempts to help her boyfriend Frank Potter avoid arrest but he commits suicide when cornered by police; and Washington police capture an elderly con man in blue overalls who forged checks using only an "X" signature. The final story depicts a 1947 bank robbery in which two men were killed, with FBI investigators tracking the criminals through Oklahoma and eventually closing in on the perpetrators.
