“. . . Without Breaking A Few Eggs!”

In "…Without Breaking A Few Eggs!", the Justice Machine finds itself pulled into Douglas Hamilton’s grand design for New Atlantis, where a staged crisis unleashes the rampaging Killgore from stasis. With Demon’s experimental drug “Edge” in play, the team halts the chaos—but at a cost that leaves Challenger reluctantly agreeing to assist Hamilton, if only temporarily, and with the ultimate goal of returning to Georwell. Written by Tony Isabella and illustrated by Mike Gustovich, with colors by Tom Vincent and letters by Bob Pinaha, this 1987 Comico issue blends political intrigue and superhuman tension, all framed by Gustovich’s dynamic cover art.

Douglas Hamilton wants the Justice Machine to work with him as they are instrumental to his plans for New Atlantis. To that end, a “coincidental malfunction” frees Killgore from stasis, who rampages through New Atlantis. The Justice Machine stop him using Demon’s drug “Edge”. Challenger then agrees to help Hamilton, but only on a provisional basis, and only until the team can get back to Georwell.
