“The Show Must Go On…and On…and On…and On…”

In "The Show Must Go On…and On…and On…and On…", Scott Free—Mr. Miracle—finds himself unexpectedly swept into a high-stakes intergalactic tour after being duped by the flamboyant Flunky Flashman. With contracts binding and no way out, Scott embarks on a year-long journey across the cosmos, leaving behind a robot double to stand in for him on Earth—while even his wife, Barda, remains unaware of the switch. Written by Keith Giffen and Len Wein, with art by Joe Phillips and Keith Giffen, and a cover by Joe Phillips and Bruce Patterson, this 1990 special blends cosmic absurdity with a touch of personal mystery.
