The Justice League battle Overmaster and the Cadre in his Arctic mountain headquarters. Dale Gunn and Gypsy fly from Detroit to help defeat them. The Justice League finds out that Overmaster was some type of power hungry parasitic creature living off the real Overmaster host. The Cadre disappears and the Overmaster's spaceship blasts out of the mountain into outer space.
