Justice League of America #13

Part of DC's 2014 "Forever Evil" crossover, this New 52 issue puts the Justice League of America squarely in the eye of the storm — and the cover by Eddy Barrows and Eber Ferreira makes that viscerally clear. A massive, anguished face dominates the composition as Superman, Wonder Woman, Stargirl, Hawkwoman, Green Arrow, and their teammates are flung outward in all directions by an overwhelming burst of energy, the tagline "Firestorm Fallout!" hinting at the source of the chaos. Matt Kindt scripts the interior alongside artists Barrows and Tom Derenick, promising plenty of turbulence for a team already stretched to its limits.
