Previously believed to be dead, J'onn J'onzz uses Darkseid's Green Lantern energy to give himself a new body, and joins the League in the battle against Darkseid. Batman risks his life to save Superman from an attack by Brainiac/Cyborg Superman, while Hal finds away to pull Green Lantern energy back from Darkseid and is able to help the League defeat Darkseid once and for all.
